Viking Air, Inc. began in August of 2005 with a Cessna 310P/G and a 172K/G available for rent to qualified pilots. Our "offices" are cockpits, cars, and coffee tables; and our advertising is business cards and talking to our neighbors. We still do it this way. It keeps the overhead costs down, so we can keep our costs to the customers down.

Viking Air, Inc. operated in Red Lodge from the Spring of 2006 until the Fall of 2009. This location is still under consideration as an ongoing project with an emphasis on services. Our goal is to be a full service FBO, offering everything that has come to be expected from an FBO. We already offer flight training, pilot services, and aircraft rental. We schedule scenic air tours of the Red Lodge area, and general tours in the Billings area. Having the appropriate personnel with a desire to carry passengers to other destinations, we are in the planning stages of charter service and minor maintenance. We are looking forward to offering a full line of pilot supplies through our online store which is currently under construction.
